The Jena University of Applied Sciences – Department of Social Work is part of the European Socrates University Network of Schools of Social Work founded 1998 in Groningen (NL) which especially fosters student and teachers exchance within the International University Week of Schools of Social Work. Jena was host of the IUW in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010.
